What is Frye Academy? Bilingual high school students in School Districts 1,2, and 11 are chosen as members of the jury for this young reader's prize. Four books - two in English and two in French - are read and debated publicly to choose an overall winner. The books are given to students at absolutely no cost and are their's to keep! The author is then invited to the Festival to receive his/her prize as part of a special evening event with the jury members and open to the public!
