Welcome to the Frye Festival 2010.
Books inspire, educate, inform, and allow us to discover new worlds. Our Government recognizes the contribution that arts and culture make to our communities, our identity, and our economy. We are always pleased to invest in efforts that give Canadians access to a wealth of literature in our two official languages. The Frye Festival celebrates the joys of reading in French and English. By bringing together great writers from across Canada and around the world, the festival honours fine literature and brings books to life for thousands of people.
On behalf of Prime Minister Stephen Harper and the Government of Canada, I commend the organizers of the Frye Festival for their contribution to the arts and culture scene in Moncton.

This literary event has grown into one of the major events in Canada, attracting well-known authors from around the world. It promotes the pleasure and discovery of reading and encourages literacy. This great event also enables New Brunswick authors to demonstrate their talents.
Congratulations to the organizers for putting together an exceptional lineup of authors and events yet again this year. Your hard work has made this event a success. Happy reading and enjoy the festival! |
