Frye Jam
Musical hosts, Les Païens present great writers accompanied by great music.

Authors in Conversation
A relaxed and intimate opportunity to get to know the person behind the book! These one-on-one conversations are lively exchanges about writing experiences and literary adventures of all sorts.

Readings
Sit comfortably and embark on a wonderful journey as authors read excerpts from their works. Francophone and Anglophone authors take turns reading in the language in which they write.

Frye Symposium
Time to exercise your brain! Frye experts explore and debate some of Northrop Frye's ideas. Learn a bit more about Moncton's most famous son!

Book Clubs
Get up close and personal with your favourite author!

Roundtable
Each author reflects on the subject of the roundtable, and then the discussion begins! These events are led by experienced moderators able to ask the right questions, allowing for an engaging debate, sure to feed your imagination! After the roundtable, the floor is open for your questions and opinions.

Writing Workshops
Hone your craft or learn something completely new.

Night Howls
Festival evenings end with a Night Howl, a spoken word musical event with two guest authors!

School-Youth Program
This program ensures the integration of children from K to 12 in the Festival’s program. Within this major program we offer youth performance events (Café Underground and Budding Writers), a writing display (Imagination at Work) and creation opportunities (Writing Contest). We also send authors in schools to visit close to 10,000 students in NB.
