Imagination at Work

Imagination at work in a few words...
  • Week-long exhibit celebrating the creativity (drawing and texts) of students in kindergarten to grade 4.
  • Exhibit opening on Sunday, April 23. Participants invited to attend with their family.
  • Readings by children's writers at the opening. 
  • Exhibit displayed from April 22 to April 29 at Assumption Place.
  • Works will be published on our website for friends and family from afar.
  • It's free to participate, and receive prizes! 
Guidelines to submit a drawing or text:
  • One single-sided page, 8.5 X 11 
  • The stories, poems and drawings (accompanied by a short text) are accepted.
  • All the works will be returned to schools after the Festival.
The following information must be included in the right-hand corner of the page:
  • Participant's full name
  • Grade level
  • Teacher's name
  • School 
It's easy to participate! Here's what you have to do:
  • Send the texts or drawings by mail or in person at our office (Aberdeen Cultural Centre, 140 Botsford street, suite 21)
  • Fill out the short form providing your contact information, school name, the participant's name and the title of their work if applicable.
