Chantale Bellemare
Secretary of the Board of directors

Moncton Public Library City Librarian since 2006, Chantale Bellemare has a master’s degree in Library and Information Sciences and a BA in French Literature from the Université de Montréal. She was previously French Services Librarian in Prince Edward Island.
As a student, she completed an internship at a publishing house and worked as a bookstore clerk. She is particularly interested in the development of community partnerships in public libraries, in matters related to diversity and inclusion, and in promoting a love of reading and lifelong learning.
An avid reader, she regularly participates in book clubs and follows literary news closely. She also reads a lot of children’s books with her two children, both already keen readers.
