*SOLD OUT*
Novelist, columnist, and humorist Lesley Crewe got into writing as a way to avoid housework, but writing 11 books in 15 years and becoming one of the Maritimes’ most beloved and bestselling authors means she’s doing something right!
This is a workshop for writers, new or experienced, who are looking for tips and tricks to move their project forward. Tips for getting a novel going even if you don’t fully grasp how to create a narrative voice or how to structure a book. Tips also for turning the simple things of our daily lives into stories and translating the mundane into a heartwarming celebration of the little things, whether as fiction or non-fiction.
This workshop is presented in collaboration with the Writers' Federation of New Brunswick (WFNB). It will be followed by a Q&A with Lesley Crewe on her new (and witty and funny) collection of columns, Are you Kidding Me?!
