Workshop: TELLING YOUR STORY
If sharing stories is what makes us human and helps us make sense of the world, memoirs are an especially powerful genre for sharing our personal experiences, learnings, and insights. In this workshop, participants will learn how to bring their stories to life, creating an emotional connection with the reader, writing about family members, and dealing with vulnerability and trauma. They will also learn about the technical aspects of writing memoirs, including finding your voice, identifying your story-line, and pitching to a publisher.
This workshop is presented in partnership with the Writers' Federation of New Brunswick.
