Geoff Eaton is a social entrepreneur, author, two-time cancer survivor and advocate for young adults living with, through and beyond cancer. He is the founder and executive director of Young Adult Cancer Canada (YACC), Canada’s leading support organization for young adults with cancer.
He has shared his story of inspiration and hope with over 75,000 students across Canada and been recognized by the Governor General with a Meritorious Service Medal, as Ernst & Young’s Social Entrepreneur of the Year and as Alumni of the Year from Memorial University of Newfoundland.
Geoff has overcome the odds to beat cancer twice, become a Dad to three great kids and built a national network of young adults living with, through and beyond cancer through YACC’s work.
Given less than a 2% chance of living, Geoff’s story will renew your belief in the long shot and remind you that 1% is not 0%, one of his six things covered in his first book 6 Things.
