Madeleine Blanchard
Media Relations Coordinator

Throughout her childhood (and well into her adult life, alongside her son and her partner), Madeleine Blanchard spent many an hour browsing library shelves. She is thrilled to be returning to her role as Media Relations Coordinator at the Frye Festival.
Professionally, she mostly manages media relations in the cultural sector. She learned the ropes working for several large-scale events, including the Frye Festival, Caraquet’s Festival acadien and Gala de la chanson, and the Festival interceltique de Lorient in Brittany, France. Madeleine Blanchard often collaborates with the National Film Board, and has worked with the Atlantic Ballet, Éditions Perce-Neige, as well as numerous Acadian artists. In the past few years she has also earned a diploma in translation.
Apart from literature, she is fond of trivia, black tea, and crossword puzzles.
