Originally from Moncton, Meredith graduated in May 2018 from Université de Moncton with a B.A. in History. Meredith has worked for Parks Canada as a summer student, Resurgo Place and is now working at the Provincial Archives in Fredericton. She is the 2018 winner of the David Alexander Prize given by Acadiensis, Journal of the History of the Atlantic Region. She is vice president of the Queer Heritage Initiative of New Brunswick / Initiative de Patrimoine Queer du Nouveau-Brunswick, an organisation which aims to collect the queer heritage and stories of the province. Meredith has fond memoires of attending Frye Festival events as a Moncton High student and as a volunteer during her student years at UdeM, she is thrilled to be back in her home town to interview Ken Setterington about his very important book Branded by the Pink Triangle.
