Bianca Richard

Bianca Richard

Bianca Richard is an actress and puppeteer who also writes for theater and film. Originally from Notre-Dame de Kent, New Brunswick, she earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drama from the University of Moncton in 2013. As a co-founder of Théâtre la Cigogne in 2012, she participated in the company’s productions until 2018. Since then, she has divided her time between acting on television, theater production, and short film production. Beginning in 2019, she has been working on the development of the play *Parler mal*, in collaboration with Gabriel Robichaud. Between 2021 and 2023, she co-hosted two seasons of the national children’s television series Oniva! (Radio-Canada). In 2024, she played the role of the author in Mélanie Léger’s play Becca. Carole Deveau

A native of Moncton, New Brunswick, Deveau holds a Bachelor of Visual Arts degree with distinction (2000) from the Université de Moncton. She has participated in several solo and group exhibitions, working primarily in relief printing and screen printing at the Imago printmaking studio.

She has always enjoyed involving the public in the creative process by offering them the opportunity to interact with her works. Printmaking and media arts allow her to explore this interactive element.

Chris has worked on over 20 albums and has performed on stage with various artists and groups. He graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Music Education, a Master's degree in Education, and completed an internship in percussion in Guinea with Mamady Keïta. He has performed at numerous festivals and cultural events in Canada and in various other countries such as the United States (Louisiana), France, Switzerland, and Guinea.

Loqman Dali Youcef

New Brunswick-based guitarist and composer Loqman Dali Youcef has been developing a musical universe inspired by flamenco and the Mediterranean spirit since 2005. His work lies at the crossroads of Andalusian traditions and North African rhythms, which he integrates to combine rhythmic precision with expressive sensitivity. Through collaborative works, he creates immersive performances where music becomes a space for dialogue between cultures, exploring the encounter between Eastern voices and flamenco aesthetics.

MariA

MariA

MariA is a dancer and choreographer on the international stage. She toured with Sentires, and has performed in the musical Zorro, and with Cirque du Soleil. MariA fled the Russian attack on Ukraine and came to Montreal in 2022, where she has lived for three years, building her Urban Flamenco dance company Las Ukraínas. There she has created a Flamenco show Encuentro and collaborates with various accomplished artists as a performer and choreographer.

Martin Daigle

Martin Daigle

The 2022 winner of Music NB’s Innovator of the Year Award and recipient of the prestigious Armand Bombardier Scholarship from SSHRC, Martin Daigle is a compelling voice in the performance arts. Emerging from creative foundations as a drummer and percussionist, his work as a performer, composer, and researcher pushes the boundaries of audio-visual and electroacoustic art. Martin’s innovative approach to performance highlights the integration of electronic devices, most notably through his development of an augmented drum kit, which was the focus of his doctoral degree, completed in 2025.

Martin’s artistry spans genres including rock, jazz, and classical percussion. He has performed at festivals such as Festival de Jazz de Montreal, Festival d’ete de Quebec, Festival des Musiques de Creation, Performing Media Festival, Open Ears Festival, Acadie Rock, and many more.

In 2021, he released his debut solo album, Mossy Cobblestone. His follow-up album, Drum Machines (2023), further explores technological innovation in percussion performance, solidifying his reputation as a forward-thinking artist in contemporary music.

Mélanie LeBlanc

Mélanie LeBlanc

Mélanie has portrayed many beloved characters, such as Lady Macbeth, the Wicked Witch of the West, Mary Poppins, Anne of Green Gables, Patsy Cline, and the pirate Ann Bonny. A bilingual performer and passionate supporter of local arts, Mélanie is a member of the Pays de la Sagouine theater troupe and teaches at the Académie de théâtre du Capitole and in surrounding schools. For seven years, she traveled as a solo artist to Vietnam, Japan, the Maldives, and India, and presented her solo show Hommage aux femmes de la guerre on tour in Canada and France. Mélanie is also a professional translator.

Raph Dely

Raph Dely

Raph Dely (they/them) is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice ranges from experimental game design and immersive cinema to conceptual art, performance, and theatre. Their artistic escape stems from an obsession with staging and interactivity, focusing their work on the audience’s experience of the artwork. They were shortlisted for the Lumen Art Prize in the UK, created a video game about miscarriage that was recognized by Kotaku as one of the best obscure games of 2020, and co-founded the Laborare Collective with Marine Theunissen. They also traveled across Europe for six months on artistic residencies, producing screen prints and conducting choreographic research-creation on rising sea levels. Since 2021, they have been deeply involved with Living Arts, contributing video design, scenography, writing, and even interactive design to more than a dozen performances.
