Qasida Flamenca
Qasida Flamenca is a musical and poetic project inspired by Mediterranean sounds and the rich traditions of the Maghreb and Andalusia. Rooted in Arab, Berber, and Francophone heritage, the project brings together flamenco guitar and classical Arabic poetry in a unique artistic dialogue.
Through original compositions and improvisations inspired by flamenco compás, combined with poetic recitations drawn from the Arab-Andalusian tradition, Qasida Flamenca explores universal themes such as love, exile, spiritual quest, and memory.
On stage, the project unfolds as an intimate sonic journey where music and poetry respond to one another, revealing the deep connections between two worlds that history may have separated, but that art naturally reunites.
Qasida Flamenca will be followed by the Arab Heritage Festival's closing ceremony from 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM.
Qasida Flamenca is included with the Festival Pass.
